5th ANNUAL YARDSALE FOR THE CURE - ANOTHER SUCCESS IN GANANOQUE!

Gananoque, Ontario

A huge thank you to our local supporters of the 5th Annual Yard Sale for the Cure -  another resounding success!   The weather actually cooperated with us this year and we remained dry for the entire morning.

My friend and former client, Nancy was sweet enough to help my husband and I this year.

She also baked some cupcakes for the cure; hers are the bright pink frosted ones and I did French Vanilla and of course, chocolate!

We were impressed with the steady stream of shoppers, except for those who wanted to ignore our 8am start time and thought they would begin at 7am just because they were so special!  NOT.

I decided a few years back to not price anything but instead, allow the shopper to

donate whatever they could to the cause.   It works out very well with only a few people

trying to take advantage and dropping a few coppers.  But for the most part, people

are very generous and many stop by to donate money without purchasing anything at all,

so it all balances out.

Thank you Gananoque, your generousity knows no bounds - see you next year!
